BACK FROM OBS!

Day 1

• Punggol @ 8.30am.
• Got to know my members from ARMSTRONG and instructors, ben & xiao tu! Icebreakers and admin stuff for a start.
• Headed off to Pulau Ubin with group ChengHo. Got our items such as tents, bottles, sticks, mess tins and all. Pitched a tent somewhere there & cooked dinner.
• First night, but we seemed tired and sleepy hehe.

Day 2

• Kayak lessons then kayaked from ubin to pasir ris park.
• Washed up and did abseiling at pasir water venture. when i was at the edge of the building, about to abseil down, something dropped. guess what, it was pebbles! trololol this must be royston's job. he threw lotsa pebbles on my lap while we were downstairs waiting for our turn and some of them must have gotten stuck in my harness! PAISEH LEH.
• walked further to pasir ris park and pitched our tents, have dinner and abit of lepak time. debrief, sentury duty, chilled with nasrul as well as some of the girls and sleep.

Day 3

• Played giant-dwarf-wizard during morning pt. still cant forgot bout my fall. hahaha the stupidiest round.
• breakfast, packed our bags and walked to punggol. stopped by lorong halus wetland. nomz and eventually reached punggol. 3 to 4 hours of walking that day. 8km for day 3.
• half an hour rest. instructors gave us a 200 second challange. 3 activities in 200secs. jump rope was most tedious cos it required ultimate synchronization. both teams managed to complete in under 200 seconds
• had our own time to shower, dinner, pitch tent etc till 8.30pm. played games, debrief and slept.

Day 4

• No morning pt cos we had to continue our land expedition asap.
• I was IC with HongJun!
• Walked from Punggol to Sembawang, around 16km. Loved the part from Punggol to the dam near yishun. Didnt feel tired, prolly cos we were happily singing together n__n
• Spent my 11.11.11am on 11.11.11 at yishun avenue 1 with Armstrong <3
• Had a break/lunch nearby a community centre.
• We were gonna walk our last 1.2km but there was lightning ahead. So we headed few metres back and found shelter nearby some kopitiam and shops. Entertained one another for an hour.
• Continued. Reached the beach area, pitch tent, eat, chill.
• Planned our sea expedition for day 5.
• Ton-ed with nasrul, xinheng, haziq, asdira & edwin.

Day 5

• Woke up @ 5am
• Sea Ex began at 6am. Kayaked with Nasrul & Haziq! I like to steer even tho im in the middle kekeke n.n
• Reached punggol at 9.
• Carried our bags and tri-yaks in. arranged items that needed to be returned. for the first time, armstrong was quick and did it faster than other groups o.o
• showered. got chengstrong's contacts.
• stepped in the blue room where armstrong first gathered on day 1. awww we all talked bout the things we did on day 1 and stood in the circle like the first time.
• ben randomly gave out the certs. i got haziq, so i had to present it to him. and somebody whom i forgot who, gave me mine. felt like hugging them all but ended up not :b
• final debrief. bout souvenirs. weee i bought a yellow drifit obs tee and a pink tee! as well as a bandana and got the recycled bag free!
• bus-ed home & swiss cottage tagged along.
• Mac with zss leaders.

I realised that Ben always brings us to the best spots for night debrief! My rough story up there seems boring but there's lotsa fun and laughter in between! I admit that it was pretty tiring and boring sometimes but the friends and memories made are precious. Throughout these 5 days, we had our duties as angels. My mortal was xinying! Unfortunately, we didnt have time to reveal our mortals on the last day. I have no clue who my angel was :( Well I dont regret coming for this camp at all! hoping for a chengstrong gathering someday! <3
